RFID solution, Radio Frequency Identification, is an automatic
identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data
using devices called RFID tags or transponders. The tag is an object
that can be attached to or incorporated into a product, animal, or
person for the purpose of identification using radio waves.
Chip-based RFID solution, the tags contain silicon chips and antennae.
Passive tags require no internal power source, whereas active tags
require a power source.
RFID uses as a solution the low-end of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The waves coming from readers are no more dangerous than the waves
coming to your car radio.

systems-that is, when a company is tracking goods that never leave its
own control.

Segepar will participate in Process pharma from 24th until 25th September 2008 in Dreux.
