RFID tags

RFID
tags, Radio Frequency Identification, is an automatic identification
method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices
called RFID tags or transponders.
The RFID tags are objects that can be attached to or incorporated into
a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification using
radio waves.
Chip-based RFID tags contain silicon chips and antennae. Passive tags
require no internal power source, whereas active tags require a power
source.
RFID tags use the low-end of the electromagnetic spectrum. The waves
coming from readers are no more dangerous than the waves coming to your
car radio.
Many companies have invested in RFID tags systems to get the advantages
they offer. These investments are usually made in closed-loop
systems-that is, when a company is tracking goods that never leave its
own control.
That's why, Ségépar is your RFID tags systems' provider.
During the realization of your project, your project is controlled by a
project leader, a detailed functional analysis is drafted by the IT
department, and hardware and software are implemented on the client's
site.
